As a fully permitted RCRA Part B hazardous waste Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility (TSDF), NSSI is one of only three U.S. facilities capable of handling mixed hazardous and radioactive wastes. Since 1971, we have supported diverse sectors, including government, education, pharmaceutical, power generation, oil & gas, and aerospace, with our Low-Level Radioactive Waste services.

Lab Pack Field Surveys
Our trained technicians conduct detailed material inventories at your facility, identifying and segregating hazardous waste based on its physical and chemical properties. Sealed Source Management

We accept sources from both Texas Compact and non-Texas Compact waste generators. Our trained Field Service Engineers handle removal, packaging, and transportation nationwide and specialize in repairing and servicing nuclear gauges across various industries. We also provide storage, leak testing, unloading, remote encapsulation, and Type A container rental and testing services.

Leak Test Services
State and federal regulations require regular leak testing of sealed sources. NSSI distributes authorized leak test kits and offers comprehensive management services for various sealed sources, including disposal of transuranic and Special Nuclear Material.
